Briefly in English

The Agenda2030 Youth Group is an influential group funded by the Prime Minister’s Office, which was established in spring 2017 in connection with the Prime Minister’s Committee on Sustainable Development.

Our group’s goal is to promote the implementation of the UN’s sustainable development goals in Finland and to actively participate in their planning, implementation, and monitoring in both our domestic and international networks.

We promote our goals by organizing activities related to sustainable development and participating in working groups and events on the subject. We also act as a link between young people and decision-makers.

Our group has 16 members. We are aged 18–28 and come from different parts of Finland. The term of office in the group is two years, and about half of the members change each year. New members are recruited to the group in the spring. Information about the recruitment process is available on our website and social media channels. The recruitment process is organized by Luontoliitto ry, which will serve as the group’s coordinator in 2025–2026.
